1. Data controller

2. Your files stay on your device

YourPDF is designed so that your documents never leave your device: opening, editing and saving PDFs run entirely in your browser. Your files are stored locally, on your device, and are never sent to any server. We never see your documents.

3. Data we collect, and why

  • Email address and time-stamped consents (acceptance of the terms, newsletter opt-in) — account and subscription management.
  • Subscription status and Stripe customer ID — access to paid features.
  • Web server technical logs (IP address, requested pages) — security and proper operation, kept for 12 months at most.

We collect nothing else: no advertising profile, no resale of data.

4. Legal bases

Performance of the contract (account, subscription); consent (newsletter — withdrawable at any time); legitimate interest (service security).

5. Recipients and processors

  • Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
  • Stripe — payment processing (European entity in Ireland); we never have access to card data.
  • OVH — website hosting (France).
  • Brevo — email sending (France).

No data is sold or transferred to third parties.

6. Retention periods

  • Account data: for the life of the account, then archived within the legal limitation period (5 years).
  • Emails of prospects who did not subscribe: 3 years after the last contact.
  • Invoices: 10 years (accounting obligation, via Stripe).
  • Technical logs: 12 months at most.

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. Write to contact@weodit.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

8. Local storage (“cookies”)

The site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising trackers — which is why no consent banner is displayed. Only strictly necessary local storage is used, on your device: your PDF files and edits, your chosen language, your login session and a temporary payment token.

9. Security

Encrypted connections (HTTPS); account data access strictly restricted; subscription status writes reserved to our servers.
